Hello. I noticed you also attended or are attending MCC for 3D animation. I took a couple of Maya classes there in the Fall of 2005 & Spring of 2006. I took the Maya beginning & advanced classes. I was wondering who is teaching the classes now & if you have the video lectures from a Maya class there. My instructor for 3D Animation Advanced class was Sean Sarcona & he would record the lectures so we could take them home. I have the whole course on DVD now & was wondering if that is still being done there. I would love to trade lectures if you have them. If you look in my portfolio, I have a house modeled in the first class & a Froot Loops commercial I did in the Advanced class. I saw the model of Comerica Park you have in your portfolio. Other than the dirt around home plate (it is supposed to be in the shape of home plate) it looks dead on. I go to about 10 games a year. I have often thought of doing the same thing. Taking pictures downtown (Hockeytown, Fox Theatre...) & modeling the surrounding area. I would love to hear from you about the existing classes in animation at Macomb & what they are teaching currently. I am quite a bit older than you (43) & am looking to just take the classes that apply to 3D animation. At the time those were really the only 2 classes that dealt with 3D animation. I purchased Maya 7 when I was taking the class & I still work in Maya at home for personal satisfaction. I am working on Tim Burton's Corpse Bride models & a few dinosaurs. I also acquired zBrush. Do they have any courses in that program? My email is arrow614@comcast.net or you could just leave a message in my guestbook here, as it is my homepage at work, I am at this site every weekday. I would love to hear from you, I have been thinking about taking another class in the spring. Keep up the good work!
